Me too hahahaha. I got a nickname years back - Jimmy the fish??? Basically it came from a city guy who thought anyone not from the city were either fishermen or farmers and there was nothing else...so coming from a fishing port, ergo there it was. What made it a bit worse was one of my crew happened to give the story some legs a few years later with a very nice Canadian chap. Apparently I had won a bronze medal for swimming at the Olympics and thats why I got the name. Being young and impressionable he readily believed it and it spread around like wildfire. Truth is, I have the swimming prowess of a brick!!
You might think that's funny, but RSPCA would not share your humour. An automated cat wash can be done only in a domestic washing machine. There are, of course, specific requirements for safe handling of said cat. One must choose 'Eco' cycle, and it is imperative that the machine has a 'Wool' setting. This ensures, obviously, that the cat will not shrink. One tip I have learnt, is to include a few soft clothes in the machine. New red T-shirts are ideal to give the cat a nice pink tinge. Other colours can be used for seasonal results. The final requirement, for safety purposes, is to ensure that a front loading - as opposed to top loading - machine be used. This way we can monitor the cycle and switch off prematurely if we witness signs of dizziness during the spin dry cycle. Cat safety is paramount!
