We will be getting home from work, wolfing our dinner down so we can wheel our bikes out to go for an evening blast. Light nights start tomorrow. I love that time of the year when you can go out at 1930 and still don’t have to worry about changing your visor back to clear.

Agree. The 21st of December is a day that should be etched in the 'Positivity Thread' because there is a major lift of spirits knowing that the days are now on the improve. Still some hard yards to pass, but it's great that each daylight becomes a bit longer.

Absolutely, I hate when the clock go back end of Oct. I get through November as it my birthday month, then Xmas in Dec. Jan can be a long dark month, but by Feb, trees start to bud. Before you know it clocks go forward end of March & it's bright till after 8pm. Then it all good again till early Oct (weather permitting)
Went for a 40min spin today, Nice to get a ride in after 3 weeks, but too foggy, cold, slippery & dozy Xmas driver on the road oblivious to their surroundings.

I do get bike withdrawal symptoms sometimes.

Let’s not be too hasty, apparently the winter solstice falls on 22nd this year as my 10yo son pointed out when I told him it was the shortest day today. Bloody kids nowadays.
