Radiator guard fitted from Racing Radiator Guard's, I recommend these, only £30 ,,,, Very well made and Very easy to fit Next job is exaust mod
Got mine to fit mark, do look like a great bit of kit. Can’t sniff for the price and the guy is super helpful
got the street hooks and the tail tidy on tonight while the boss is at work, now need to fit the seat cowl, the radiator guard, screen, hugger, chain guard and the racefit
I keep looking at the quickshifter thinking I should fit it, but the stories on here me think sod it!
Not today but keeping my fingers crossed that the driver comes early to empty the septic tank on Monday.
Installed some security cameras this afternoon, fitted the seat cowl to the blade this morning, this evening I’m either changing exhaust or fitting radiator guard and a few other bits, what do you think I should fit?
Yup, should have all that done and all the other bits by the time you boil the kettle and have a cuppy
Any guides available for exhaust removal anywhere, after the antics from last night I need to read up before I tackle it lol
Loosen clamp where it attaches to headers, remove bolt where it attaches to rear sets. Depending what year unplug o2 sensor. Remove cable from exhaust valve servo. Take note of servo motor position as this has to be in the same position after removing cable. Wiggle the exhaust off.
I must confess I didn’t do either yesterday, went into the garage and decided I couldn’t be bothered lol. Will try again tonight maybe? did deduce that my battery is buggered even after being on an optimate for 2+1/2 months so may pop to Halfords and pick up a new one today
I thought you would have been chomping at the bit to hear the new Zorst?? Then posting videos of you revving hell out of it, lol
Got a trade card for Halfords so £63 for a yuasa. Would go lithium but won’t see the benefit personally and cba to get another charger for it lol. Will check sbs thanks nigel
I am, but I’m lazy jimmy, so lazy to actually get on and do it. Also if I don’t get it on in one sitting I’ll stress about it being in bits even though the bike won’t be going anywhere for a couple of months lol
You can do the zorst in <30 mins if I can do it, you'll be fine! I've still not fitted the braided brake lines I've had laying around for nearly a year now...
With the servo cable, do I remove it completely - like from the bike or just disconnect it? Also with the o2 sensor - what do I do with that? I’m assuming I need to take the gear side lower fairing off? Or move it to gain access to the bolts?
Yeah remove the cable from the servo, its attached to the original pipe. Comes away with it. And yeah just the one bolt at the rear of the lower fairing to move it out of the way a bit. You should have a blanker for the O2 plug for a 2011, although cant help with that one as I didn't have it on a 2016, or need to remove it
