Yes, I've got it in my "watch list" and have been waiting to see if it gets re-listed.. No sign yet..
Well it's almost the VAT difference, so unless someone is VAT registered and can get it as a business expense (if that's how it works?!) then I guess that's about the price I'd have expected, unless there is serious demand for the UK allocation of bikes.
It’s just been relisted for £16,999 lol.. so clearly someone looking to make money and not interested in the bike itself. Shame.
Speed Triple? Do you mean Street Triple Nige? The 2020 Speed Triple hasn't been announced as far as I know yet.
Thought you may have been keeping all the pics of it to yourself Nige, look forward to seeing it when it arrives! Fingers crossed this will be the only messing about you have with it
I'm so sorry your experience is turning out to be an exercise in restraint and frustration. I guess most manufacturers are the same, but I think given it's a special limited edition, Triumph could at least treat you like a special customer on this occasion. Whilst I was in the market for the Moto2 bike, I was frustrated by how little Triumph would engage with me regarding customisation of the bike. I wasn't made to feel like a special or valued customer, and given it's a UK company, I was hoping for a little more special treatment, in fact, any special treatment (other than the brief experience at Silverstone when I sat on the bike) would have probably helped keep my deposit down for one. I'm planning to go and visit the Norton factory in a few weeks, and one thing I'll be asking about is the customer experience and also whether I can get a closer look at a Superlight (just about in my price range) and a V4RR (definitely out of my price range!). Hopefully you'll have the bike for the weekend and it'll be dry. Fed up with the wet weather that seems to be following me around on my bike like that cloud did the Pink Panther..
Let's us know how the Norton visit goes....I would love to order there superbike and ride it home from Donnington...maybe one day soon...
Hope the bike comes soon N like you I go mental when I am told one thing and it does not happen ....I hope they now deliver it draped in a special Moto 2 cover.......when I had the sp delivered the dealer did make it a good experience the bike was glowing and it was draped in a red Honda cover which they let me keep...these bikes are a lot of money it doesn't matter if it's 4to 5k its all hard worked for....then they wonder when they go bust...
Just had a quick look at the Ducati website (generally not a fan of the styling), and the V2 looks much more to my taste than the new 2020 V4 which has some horrible black bits of plastic, sorry I mean wings/aero package, on the front (yuck).. Thankfully the Daytona has none of this nonsense. Looking forward to reading about your customer experience at your Triumph dealer. I hope they make it a special event for you!

laid in bed last night and thought about moving my cbr1000rr on urban tiger, so this morning I emailed my local dealer got back within 5 mins Gary we have one here ready to go. I said could I wait until March he said no problem we have more coming late February I can just allocate this one to someone else. Got to make my mind up by 5pm
