Extending the cable would be simple enough. On my naked the indicator cables route out the bottom of the under the pillion area and are hidden behind the tail tidy I have. I'm just not sure if the protective cap they supply on the charger lead would be resilient enough.
If its anything like mine it would be...i skin my knuckles every time i pull it out as its tight as f**k. I have a Halfords smart charger that virtually does any lead acid battery. I know some others have a crap plug that falls out with a good fart though
Mine was hanging out the end of the pillion pegs, personally I can’t see much difference to the tail tidy, I md go for it. May extend mine when I get a new one
Fitted GB Racing engine covers today very good quality....I just need GB bullet sliders to match. Has anyone tried the sliders from GB?
They Do the job though which is the most important thing. Only thing I've noticed is that the white writing has faded on some bikes, I get quite particular over things like that
I woke my neighbours up, quick start and run up to temperature (which I’ll do every couple of weeks) until I can be bothered to replace my optimate lead - not likely anytime soon
Today... swapped the cowl for the pillion seat on the RR6 and took out my 9 year old niece for her first pillion ride ever! Admittedly it's not the ideal first pillion bike for a kid, but being small she actually fitted quite well, I got a pillion belt for her to hang onto and she loved it. Topped out at the spectacular speed of 45mph but we all have to start somewhere
I need to think about servicing my bike now, its on about 18k, got all the stuff for the oil change, except the willpower
On Sunday I wondered when the MOT was due. 6th December 2019. Drat My local place is closed on Monday. I phoned this morning, he gave me a 'while you wait' slot in half an hour. I arrived early and got it done at once. I put it on the calendar for next year plus a 'one month to go' warning. I hate being stupid and that was stupid.
Can someone give me a bit of history/education on the SP2? It's a homologation of a twin made to take on Ducati at racing, right? But in a different era of racing where regulations different, as Honda was also selling a more powerful inline 4 fireblade at the same time? What's it like to ride compared to a contemporary blade?
Well today i went into the garage...the bike is still there (or at least something bike shaped is still under the cover) ROLL ON SUMMER, its too cold!!!
I meant automatically @nigelrb like you do for road tax - but yes you as usual are correct in that you can sign up for a reminder.
