Interesting oversight, as I have bikes that I have never even mentioned on this forum. There are others on this forum too with a collection of bikes, because it is a passion of ours and one that is frequently shared and appreciated by/with others. Of course you do not have to voice or share that appreciation, as is your right, but as I have said on many occasions, if I or others were to collect stamps or coins, there would be no issue, in fact, six or seven of those items would not be deemed a collection. You might also note that I have not, for quite some time, run a signature listing that 'perfect collection'. Rather contrary to an attention seeker's motives. If you recall the Triumph dilemma in its entirety, you will note that the bike was 'promised' pre-Christmas. The fact that both Triumph UK and the dealer acted deceptively over the delivery (the status was that the bike was 'lost' in a courier's warehouse) was of public interest and a matter that is not unlike some of the Honda 'customer services' experienced by other members. The difference between good and poor businesses hinge upon their attitude to customer service. One only has to read the threads on here about Cheshire Motorcycles and its alleged fraudulent practices. Finally, 'limelight' can be interpreted in many ways. It seems you choose to not weigh the numerous posts of assistance to others within my daily activity. That suggests to me that you're engaging in 'selective reading' or merely suppressing jealousy.
Fortunately ones local Sainsbury sells it...even though one then has to mix with the great unwashed...
Hey get this, it has gone full circle. Before I joined the Military (Sep 1988) I had a paper round in Manchester. When it came to Christmas time we used to knock on all the doors for Christmas tips (Compliments of the season for your Paper boy). The poorer people were a lot more generous than the wealthy. Now delivering for Waitrose the wealthy people are fantastic and the not so wealthy can (some not all) be a complete PITA. Constantly wingeing and trying to get things for free or reduced. You would be shocked at the ‘first world problems’ some people come out with.
Your certainly defensive eh. It was my opinion based on what I see and certainly not from jealousy. If I wanted a collection I'd acquire one but money best spent elsewhere. You've posted numerous pics of bikes all lined up showing off your close matching plates which is where I based the comment of its all me from. And the oh look I've just bought this posts. I,m not explaining my actions and I certainly don't expect you too but this is a forum that were entitled to comment on what we think.
