44Teeth 30min V4s review now up worth a watch.....new sp is not lighter is 5kg more than last one also may have 15bhp more but is way up the Rev range great for track riding not so much for the road.....if it was 19k for the sp then fair enough but 24.5k then paying to have rear pegs off...seat cowl for me is to much ...can't wait to see detailed reviews .....at the moment swaying towards Ducati....test ride late March although won't be putting on a full exhaust as 4.7k wtf....makes it 226bhp!,,,,,

Would have had near the same expense with the 1299s stupid amount for a full aka system, managed to pick up a new system on ebay for £2300 and the dealer charged me £300 to fit. Not something I'd take on with a Ducati seeing as they make all their fixings with Chinese chocolate.

Like BVG said in the video some dealers are selling the old spec V4s with a full system for £24k

Thanks yes I saw that and I live near Sneils near Alton......but I like the new fairing and the standard can sounds not to bad.....although they will probably offer me 2.50 px for the sp....if that s the case I will just plod around on the Honda....

Also said the power is all top end. The display in 1 mode has the rev counter start at 5000rpm . He also said the position is very uncomfortable.

Sure it will win plenty. It's clearly going to be too extreme for the road though, it even sounds like it will be too extreme for your average UK track day rider. I bet most people could lap a grey and gloomy Cadwell faster and with more fun on something like a street triple.

The new 2020 shape looks amazing! Saw it a the Bike Show at the NEC back in November. The circle of people around the new bike was two or three deep.

Best 'front end' in the class, I've got my fingers crossed we'll see some sweet results in the BSB & Worlds.

what a shame the only way you can tell the difference between the stock and sp is the suspension tops so when your on the move to most people you wouldn't guess which one is which, either the stock is superb or the sp isn't special enough

Forks are a different colour and the calipers are different too.

Hey I agree, they should have differentiated them more. SP should have its own colour. Fact remains the SP has Brembos and gold fork legs...the standard doesnt..

I say good on them for making what on first impressions seems to be a bike which can compete on track with the established names in the category. They have obviously moved away from the ethos of the blade with cramped position and top end power. The blade was always known as the comfortable low end torque road goer, great all round superbike.

Alot of cash to be risking using it to it's full potential on track, not the best option for the road so I dont think wel see many however those that fork out will feel very special and I will certainly be jealous when I come across one!

Just read one of the youtube comments from Michael Mann that the exhaust valve on the stock can doesn't open until 7000rpm!!

I wonder if there'll be the remotest chance of a demo sp anywhere...I don't want one but wouldn't mind a try out to see how vastly different it is...

I am going to say that probably is not going to happen. You may need to ply Sir Nigel of the West Midlands with your feminine charms to get a ride.

    I'm sure he'd trade a ride for a "ride".
