This is the only truth. Once someone is paid to review and the employer relies on advertising money from the suppliers of the product being reviewed, the reviews are skewed towards the entities that pay their bills. This is just human and corporate nature.
Bingo. Manufacturers realise that people look up reviews online, they seek out YouTube reviews. So, they have moved to grass roots influencers. I was looking at a blog and a dude was testing some Metzelers - he had been provided with a set by Metzeler to review - everything grippy in the rain etc etc etc - all good of course The real tragedy is that no one can criticise ANYTHING German without being accused of bringing up World War 2 hatred all about World War 2 - all bollocks. If you look at the review, you will notice that there is considerable opinion - his opinion on the outgoing CBR, his opinion on what he thinks is suitable for you Nice looking Fireblade as seen below:
BMW is paying enough most of the paper writer aka juornalists , so in quite every tests the s1000 is the best or gs 1250 or s1000r or some other half indian/chinese shit built with the only pourpose to spare money and get the major profit out of it. BMW mastered this art .

I see the 2020 Aprillia has just had a revamp with full electric ohlins, bare in mind it has a a Akra fitted, marchesini wheels at £22k which will be £17k come September... Has we are talking corrupt german media, hasn't this bike won PB or FB best sport bike for nearly the last 10 years ! Just love Italians
Well i certainly do love coming back to this place for all the latest and greatest banter on the new 2020 Blade.... I’ve pretty much sat on the fence and committed only mildly since being seduced and overcome by a different manufacture Having spent the last year and a half enjoying and creating another masterpiece I’ve been secretly lusting after something more.... Perhaps it was time to jump back in and look at my options? Or sit on the fence for a while longer. After all my last new bike was back in 2005 (Suzuki GSXR1000K5) The new Blade was very high on the list, The BMW S1000RR Slightly closer... But I had a feeling about the blade that worried me....Just what if they go completely the opposite direction and make it too track focused due to poor racing results. As a few already know I’d already commented on this Not that I would have committed to any purchase without qualifying its manners as a road bike.... But come on let’s face it we’re not all track focused riding gods are we, Some maybe? But I’d love to know the percentage of people buying top sports bikes that are just being used on the roads and generally will never see a track!.... The Blades of old were masters of being a great road bike plus being handy on the track too. I think this could be the end of the blade being a great all rounder! Jack of all trades no more... But could well be master of the race track.... For me and probably many others it’s a step in the wrong direction!

Ducati V4 S 211 HP £24,795 "....simultaneously softening and sharpening the v4 has made it easier to ride and the gains will be greater the less experience you have.....incredible machine....." It seems obvious that the use of emotive words has been used that play on your fears ....exotic price ...tiny ..you will need a lot of ability to ride it. This is the way propaganda work. The Ducati, which is more expensive and similarly powerful is somehow described as incredible and easier to ride. So, buy the Audi.
You are nuts aren't you mate? The Blade is tiny (yes I've sat on both Blade and Duc), it is an exotic price for a Blade and it is very revvy by the sounds of all the reviews that are out there. But somehow you think its a big media conspiracy to undermine Honda and promote German owned bikes. Have you ever thought that just maybe the Ducati is a better bike and is being reported as such honestly and fairly?

Sorry Mattie, I've just read all of that and none of it gives the reviewers opinion or even if they rode it. Just an explanation using fancy graphics that will have been provided by Honda in a press pack. I would much rather trust a reviewer who has actually ridden the bike on track and rad, than someone who doesn't mention it at all. No matter which publication/company they come from.
Should Honda have renamed it rather than playing on the CBR and Fireblade names which have alway been more street/road focused?
I guess it's inevitable that sooner or later the Blade would move away from being road biased to track. 20 years ago Devils Bridge would be awash with sports bikes. These days it's primarily 18 foot tall BMW's with 3 front mudguards, knobbly tyres, panniers bigger than my en-suite and an engine that's been installed sideways. Very few folks seem to want a sports bike on the road so it makes sense to build it to win races, rather than sales figures. TT results say it all, it used to be the bike to have in races like the Senior (2006-2013 winner) but these days, if you're serious about winning, you don't even consider the Blade. Maybe 2020 is the year that changes?
So you think someone regurgitating the Honda press release is a good review? You have to understand all relevant reviews are peoples opinions. You test ride a bike and you give your opinion, I test ride a bike and I give an opinion. That's exactly what reviewers like Neeves are doing. Giving their opinion. Whether you want to respect their opinion is upto you, but what isnt right is you saying his opinion is void because a German company own his publication. Your conspiracy theories are spiralling out of control mate. Back to the bike....looks like its going to be an amazing race bike but not so much use for us road riders. @Barstewardsquad hit the nail on the head, this new bike could have been given a new model name and we keep the Fireblade as we know and love.
I think its right getting the fireblade brand name back up there, that's what Hondas famous for, buy the last one and save a load of money, 214bhp for the road is nearly as insane as the 24grand asking price
