my bike is partly in my living room on a separate note, i feel stressed out of my fudging mind, like im about to completely evaporate - someone please make me laugh Also, four new tyres on the BMW today, transformed it
Air filter, oil and oil filter changed. Headers polished with Autosol. All ready for action, I fear I could be 5 or 6 weeks premature though.
Deffo too early, weather too shocking to contemplate any sort of deep cleaning! I've got the weekend when the clocks go back scheduled for this task!
So I finally got around to fitting the stomp grips very kindly supplied by the generous northern Doris Think the clear was the right way to go, thanks @Lozzy
Thanks mate, I’ve only done 50 miles on it since December. Between broken ribs and ankle from the off, loss of confidence and working 7 days a week at the moment it’s an ornament
I finally got round to fitting the later (2012 onwards) rear shock to my 2009 'blade. Thanks to @LRJimmy I had a hugger to go with it (sent it to me free and he wouldn't even let me pay for the postage, liking this forum). It took me a lot longer to get to that point than expected though. I think I'll buy a track fairing set to make maintenance easier as I don't plan on using it on the road much, if at all. While I was there I lubricated the bearings on the linkage etc. There was a bit of scoring on the inner face of one of the linkage plates but it appeared to be down to crap trapped in that area. The bearings were all in good condition.
I only went in to buy oil and oil filter ended up walking out with a new pair of supertech r’s £100 off for cash who says dealers are expensive
Embracing the dark side with these new light protectors from slipscreens. Me and the misus had few hours out in the sun after the rain cleared this morning
I recieved my pillion foot rests back from a local sprayer today. He does alot of bike related work and I couldn't be happier with the satin black finish.
Gotta love an Arrow can!!! I'd of thrown the pillion pegs in a box until the day came for selling though
Yeah it's very loud, ear plugs are a must ha. Unfortunately the misus requires somewhere to put her feet, I had suggested walking but that didn't go down too well
Little bit late starting this, but time for an overhaul for the summer, suspension off for a refresh and body work off for a fresh coat of paint.
Take a new set of headers, some steel to make a jig and bang, the cat is gone Sounds simple but it took a very skilled welder to get in seamlessly smooth inside and out...
Not quite a full detail, but the first Maintenance wash since November. Fall out remover, quick clay, polish, glaze and sealant. Like my Mrs still scrubs up well with a little effort
