...one of these I've been out playing in the mud these last few weeks and forgot how much fun it is to get dirty and fall over so much. The last of a motor is the big factor, but sure it'll keep me fit LOL
I'm after a new 1 as my mate has decided that he's keeping mine. How kind of him. I love doing downhill aswell as cross country. It a great way to get in shape, so long as you keep in 1 piece
Good idea Viper_biker haven't been out on mine for ages due to a dodgy knee but will be again as soon as I can. Not only does it keep me fit but destresses me as well. I am lucky because I am surronded by Thetford Forest which is a great place to bike. When I am feeling really brave I tackle their Black route..........had some nasty mishaps on that one but it is good fun.
cant remember the last time i rode a bicycle!! well apart from this morning at spin class but thats not quite the same as going out in he woods. nothing beats a bit of mud and laughing hysterically at everyones, yes including your own misfortune when you fall of or stop at the pub!! ...ohhh the pub..... now that sounds like a dam fine idea!! xx
After I cycled two miles home with that break, covered in mud and in a not inconsiderable amount of pain Jeanette made me strip to my skivvies outside on the drive before she'd let me in. Not so nice as her picture implies Jo, eh?
Well!... I think I might squirt you in the eye, given the chance. I got my own back though. Flat on my arse for 8 weeks in plaster, three weeks in an air cast and 2 months in a brace. "You'll have to hoover around me dear" LOL.
i have started using mine in the last month as well, i tend to do a 20 mile ride once a week and a 10 mile ride once a week. I would like to ride more but am limited on time with the dark evenings at the mo. My weight has started to drop though so the metabolism must be speeding up......
I enjoy a bit of cycling. Ive got a Focus "Fat Boy"..............over to you Ken! Mrs Steve and I do the local trails. We often do the high peak trail - 23 mile round trip - quite mild though, only a few hills. We are very lucky in the peak district for cycling trails.
