pulled it out the garage so I could put some fresh new LED batten lights in to replace the single 40w bulb I had before. Should make tinkering in the evenings easier now I can see! picture included because Who doesn’t want to see the fastest colour blade Honda ever made
Bike cleaned, tyres fitted, and got me some lovely titanium pr0n to put back on when I re-fit the wheels....PHWOOAAAR!
Did an oil and filter change, remembered why I don't like dealers doing it as the sump nut and filter were done up to too-fookin-tight-by-far nm Used Castrol Power 1 for the 1st time so was a bit surprised that it was red! Also realised I need to clean it before the weather gets better, little furry bits where bugs used to be
Removed radiator guard and cleaned all the crud off it. Fitted a Boosterplug to help with low revs, thanks to Euro whatever number crappy requirements! Also replaced the throttle grip body tube thingy as the newer ones have a better cam for coping with Euro regs, and at the same time dialled out 99% of the cable slack to bring it down to about 1mm of travel. I did however bottle fitting the scorpion tip to my ScotOiler so will just carry on running with the standard one for now Ready for summer now
Second ride on the new to me bike but First proper ride out since my accident. The race fit sounds amazing but also the way the bike handles with the weight reduction is so much better. Now I know I’m ok with being back on the road Let the modifications begin lol
hi fella, Yes mate I’ve still got lots from the last one, hel calipers Hel quick release brake lines, going to add the rear aswell. New master cylinder and levers Hel rear caliper I’ve put the race fit on so at some point will add the front of the system. Pc5 and mapped quickshifter ( not sure which one though) Still got a carrier bag of titanium bolts lol Remove rear pegs Sp cowl I loved the qa throttle so maybe get another? suspension set up rad guard and lower from last bike double bubble screen from last one(maybe new?) And when the funds allow? A nice set of oz wheels but will have to be in between riding when time allows mate as got a few trips in the planning
Thanks mate, a lot of that was on the last one but being used every day and looking a bit sorry for itself I suppose it all didn’t stand out to well?
Your last one looked brilliant. Those HEL calipers are very nice looking bits of kit. I do have a soft spot for a repsol though and will look brill when its kitted out
Much appreciated fella, I can’t wait to get them back on as they are a lovely bit of kit. And like you, I’ve a soft spot for the repsol already,
Got a new camera to take on hols (cancelled) so took some bike pictures 'cause of the rain. The bike's nice new home at the new office car park - empty at weekends.
Local number plates are black and silver, or you can have the yellow ones like the UK. Most people choose the black/silver ones as they look better and not as reflective. They are the normal colour number plates. I have just messed with the order a bit so as not to give the exact reg number. I don't usually show the reg number in pictures Here is my old MT-10 to show you what I mean about the numbers - perfectly street legal although I do sometimes get stopped abroad in France.
