Yeah reckon that will be next, even though they can't drive anyway due to isolation, the silly buggers will still try and keep their tanks full just in the case the Zombie apocalypse breaks out...
I was thinking of getting some so that if they do shut any fuel stations I'd have some for the bike! Cant see it getting to that point though.
There seemed to a bit of a rush on fuel earlier in the week near me but it seems to have gone the opposite way now. Can't see there being an issue tbh as only a fraction of the usual traffic out and mileage reduced greatly for many.
don't you lot remember the fuel shortage in the 90s . it was mad a couple of weeks of 2 hour lines at the one station to have fuel in a 30 mile radius of my village . and you were only allowed to put half a tank in I think which back then was a tenner.
Definitely remember the fuel tanker strike of the late 90s. Government hated it that the public were backing the drivers.
This place is falling apart. Got some internet time. Figured I would update you on the state of the colonies. Send bog roll.
Its mental...why bog roll of all things?? Its not very nourishing and you can live without it if you have to???
Guess that's it then, no sooner did the weather improve we have to lock the motorbikes back away again! Lots and lots of cycling for me.
Would love to get out but I'm not going to ignore what we are all being asked to do. Hopefully it might only be 3-4 weeks.
Might take mine into the office on the odd day I need anything and go home the scenic route... round Kielder and the scottish borders I appreciate not having groups in parks or gatherings etc but it doesn't get much more solo than riding a motorbike. I would come into more contact with others whilst jogging or on the pedal bike.
I'd like to use mine for work too, but that avenue has been closed now...stood down for the time being.
But we are allowed one outing for exercise. Is riding a bike not a workout and it is very much a solo / isolated activity, as long as you are not stopping and congregating. Or you could be out for essentials on your bike
Basically all those idiots who went to parks beaches places of natural beauty AND biker meets where hundreds of people were congregating only have themselves to blame for the lockdown, how hard is it to follow simple advice, this virus isn’t messing about just look at Italy and Spain,it’s about time people stopped being selfish and looked at the bigger picture because the next person who might get infected or even worse lose there life will be someone YOU know
