Blew the cibwebs away and got out for the first ride since last October! Bit breezy but boy was it good to be back on a bike.
Been for a ride (probably like a knob again) got back and washed all the salt off i could be arsed to take some photos this time Looking across the Lune to Heysham power station from Glasson Dock
Out again 1st thing only about 7c but keep the supercorsa spinning not to bad ....only did a quick hour then back give it a good wash the polish finished off with gloss preserver so it cuts through the air even quicker....now need new tyres so will get on the case in the morning ...Mrs w not impressed and said the NHS is busy enough without me adding to it...did feel a bit guilty going out but rest of week in store filling up so back to the frontline trench....record last wk was a pallet of loo roll lasted 2secs.....
Social Distancing..... And Winning!!! Sun's out, would have been rude not to give the bike a run out and try my new HJC Rpha11 Jonas Folger rep out!
I went for an isolated ride, was lovely, roads were great, and my chicken strips that could previously feed a family of four, can now only feed a family of three
Got out in the sun again on near deserted Peak District roads (apart from bikes ) and treated the sp to some matching Dainese summer shorties They had some lovely blingy matching boots too...
I agree, but that goes for most summer gloves in my opinion. Shorty ones especially, which I have loads of by the way! I've never got on with ankle boots though. Had a pair of Sidi Streetburners, which I ended up selling on. Full on shin guard for me. Chin
Fitted an OEM quickshifter that I bought off ebay for £128 and swapped the Michelin Road 5s that had done 7000 miles for a new set of Michelin Power 5s.
No pics, but got out every day this week & put up 1000km. Got bike serviced & fitted an Angel ST front & Angel GT rear (€180 for set) Weather was great. Lockdown just announced here in Ireland tonight from midnight, so spending the weekend de-flying my bike.
Lady in leather...seats trimmed in black leather and perforated leather with blue stitch. Fitted today, I couldn't recommend this guy more.
Today I rolled the bike onto the patio and jetwashed all the sawdust off it. I now have a cheap vacuum cleaner hooked up as a dust extraction unit for the router so it should stay good too.
