Or just find a friendly MOT Tester, onethat reccomend to take the baffle out as it was safer, and sounded amazing.
Love the look of the racefit, but from what I've heard you can forget UK trackdays except maybe a loud Donnie?? it this true??
I also have the Racefit Growler Black Edition. I bought it without the baffle attachment which for 5 years has been fine with a ‘friendly’ MOT tester. However this year he told me that inspectors are cracking down and I’d need to get a baffle sorted for it......won’t lower the noise to legal limits but shows that I’ve made an effort at least! As soon as lockdown is over and weather improves I’ll take a trip to Matlock for the day. The Racefit guys say they’ll weld on the baffle attachment, provide the baffle itself and repack the exhaust for £100 all in. Should be a good day out!
My baffle just has a wee 7mm grub screw to hold it in makes it easier to remove. That was how racefit did it.
I’ve got a stainless carbon nose end can Yoshi on my RR7 (see what did you do you your bike today). No remap, no servo (exup) whatever you want to call it. Allegedly if you start your bike and let it warm up until the fan kicks in then use the kill switch NOT the ignition to stop it the ECU “learns” your fuelling!! Seems to have worked on mine or needn’t have bothered but no issues.
Just to add to Daz's post, And you mustn't rev the engine or throttle it at all whilst it reaches temperature, just let it idle until the fan kicks in. Chin
It might not go down that well BUT...... Delkevic do a titanium can in the Akrapovic style; 260mm length https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CB...EXHAUST-KIT-/273828738916?hash=item3fc176f764 OR 343mm length https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CB...EXHAUST-KIT-/293360226985?hash=item444da1d2a9 I had a Delkevic on my old ZX9-r and it was a great exhaust (couldnt find a fault with how it was made), also have one on the R1 trackbike. If you wanted to actually see one they are based out of DK motorcycles in Stoke
You need to disconnect battery first Disconnect battery for ten minutes Reconnect battery Start bike without throttle Wait for fan to kick in Hit the kill switch. Turn the key off Done
haha not quite but you do have to stand in front of your bike and portray fire through the medium of dance to the honda gods
