At least you’ll have somewhere warm n dry to go!? haha I’m busy giving my garage a spruce up. Walls and floor painted, doors cleaned, get rid of the wife’s useless shite in there. Re-carpet then start on the outside! Thanks Covid-19 couldn’t have done it without you lol
I walk around my house with crash helmet on listening to music. It is seriously a nice place to be...
Week 2 as a home school teacher, never ever thought I’d be looking forward to the school holidays so much.
I've just had a little run out and I really enjoyed it. My son flew back to abu Dhabi about 12 days ago and lost his wallet on route. Well it turned up in tact at Newcastle airport so I duly put myself out for him by going to collect it Apart from the lady at lost property I didnt see another single solitary person in the entire airport. Everything shut down and cordoned off. I had to climb over or squeeze past 3 lots of barriers inside the building to get to lost property (she had said on phone I would have too). Very spooky but were still able to charge £10 admin fee! At least i got a decent little ride out and he gets his ID cards etc back
You lot sending bloody pics of garages nicer than my lounge have just cost me £40 . I have felt COMPELLED to improve the lighting in the garage so some 4ft LED baton lights are now on their way to me. Pretty cheap really and should improve the lighting massively
Totally run out of things to do... So had to deep clean and polish the lads....which is usually unheard of Gawd it's a boring job I don't know how you ocd lot do it Yes....I know the garage is a mess but I'd rather poke my eyes out than sort that
I get quite envious of those who know one end of a spanner from another. I've washed mine and given it a going over with ACF50, (fairing on). If I was brave I'd take the fairing off to clean it 'properly', replace the chain and sprockets, new rear brake disc, fit engine covers, new oil and filter and replace the coolant hoses. Sadly I know full well that if I tried all (any) of the above I'd just wind up causing loads of damage and once the covid lockdown ended my bike would be in lockdown in the local bike shop being repaired, at great expense. I'll just wash it again, might have missed a bit
Just stuck two of them in my garage, nice and easy to install and a massive improvement on the single 40w bulb I had before
Oh good, I'm getting excited now hopefully here tomorrow. FFS how sad has my life become when I'm getting excited over a bloody light fitting I NEED to get out !!!!
Easily the best thing you can do for the garage. I put two 5ft LED batons in a few years ago, nothing gets lost on the floor anymore.
Hardest job out of your list is getting the fu**ing fairings off! That can be a fiddly job the first time you do it.
Oh all these positives for my new lights...cant wait now. Been despatched so that's tomorrow's job once delivered. The missus has decreed that week 3 of lockdown will be me sorting out the back bedroom. That's the one with my office space, my leathers and helmets etc so apparently it's all my shit that needs junking
For those of you that are still house bound, some more on track shenanigans for all y'alls entertainment It was Day 2 Testing & Developing the SuperBike & testing the various Power/Traction strategies. No doubt 1st gear is useless without serious intervention and wheelie control for an amateur like me. * The HRC anti wheelie is so smooth and progressive the front wheel is just floating and skipping all the way down those 13,000rpm straights! I wish the street bike had this system in place, every Honda enthusiast should have access to this tech for their track day and race bikes! I have to again commens Ten Kate on the most amazing motorcycle engine I have ever experienced.
