You only know who is who on a what’s app group if u have that persons number stored in your contacts I think ? Otherwise the comments will be by a telephone number and nobody’s name ?

I used to be on FB all the time. My Dad passed away on 1 Jan this year and I came off it for a little while as there was loads of family nonsense flying about on it that I didn't agree with. For a few days or so I couldn't get used to not having it but now, a few months down the line, I'm absolutely loving not having it. Dread to think what kind of utter nonsense is appearing on there regarding Covid-19.

Also, a comment I heard at work made me laugh the other day, from a lass who must be about 19. Someone mentioned FB to her and she just said, 'oh, that's for old people'. Made me chuckle

 

This is the closest I get to anything like that as I’ve always been of the opinion that Social Networking Platforms are the root of all evil.

 

When I ran my own business I prob had about 7 or 8 kids 16 to 19 working for me and the amount of nastiness that went on via Facebook was unbelievable.
I've never had an account and wouldn't thank you for one. The tears and upset i had to deal with because of what someone was saying about someone else on FB was just mind boggling.
Seems to be the main tool for being a twat these days and only seems to cause problems.
I'm surviving well enough without it.

 

I agree. All the Jeremy Kyle gladiators were on the show because of Farcebook! I've never joined in the 20 year existence, never will.
