After 16k on my RR8, I would like to take out the air intake plastic and give the inside a clean (including the intake flappers).

I am looking for info on how to remove them off the bike and the necessary body panel removal, the do's & don't's
I am not good with plasticky stuff and dread breaking lugs on the panels, hence what to do it right and be light handed:)

Have you downloaded the workshop manual? The plastics can be quite tricky, especially the black plastic retaining clips/studs. The manual tells you the order in which to remove/refit. Have some superglue ready for the velcro bits on the air intakes!
