Apparently the puppy has been found. From the reported sightings it appears to have been following the Trent northwards. No real details yet but looks to be a happy ending, and no that the sort you lot of Reprobates ask for!
Well, I joined a stupid forum (you might know it, 1000rr) and it's full of forum clean Police, so I've started to turn into some weird cleaning freak! Washed my jacket just now and left it to dry. Gonna balm her when it's dry... and then I'm gonna balm the jacket Chin
I know I'm bored when cleaning my gear is the highlight if the day! Dont be fooled by the fact my leathers look like they for a short and wide body I'm more a lanky streak of pish Cant wait to ride now. It's so tempting
My leathers are really shit compared to everyone elses. Got a few battle scars but being a tight arse i cant replace them until either A. The beer belly forces me too B. I wear a proper whole all the the way through them This is them after they were cleaned to within an inch of their life !!
Been on my arse twice in these ones. Once into the back of a lotus Elise. He sued me for nearly £20k in damages to his car and his hire car costs. Went to court and he lost on all counts and the judge found against him on every aspect and awarded my costs etc against him too. He was left with a near £23k bill. He forgot I had taken photos at the scene and when it showed position of my skid mark and the cracked rear bumper of his car the judge wouldn't accept it could possibly be £17k of damage and also why he needed to hire a Mercedes for a further £3k. He sued me because he was told that as I rear ended him it would automatically be my fault. This is NOT true. As he thought it was an easy win he basically had his car stripped and rebuilt thinking I would have to pay for it all ! The second occasion was a lady on a large 3 lane roundabout changing lanes without checking.
Shit, bet that was stressful! Good to hear it all worked out in the end. Am I right in thinking your in the north east Paul?
I am mate as you are cos I recognise that corner at Croft circuit in your avatar (please dont make me look stupid and say it's a different place ) Cant remember its name - Hawthorne maybe- but I binned it there and that one really hurt. Broken shoulder blade, cracked ribs, crushed rotator cuff and so on. Happy days
I did another dirty job today. Took the front sprocket cover off my beemer and scraped off all the old crappy lube that accumulated in there. To say it was pretty minging in there would be an understatement so I also degreased and cleaned the centre stand and underside whilst i was covered in muck
Wahed the bike, mowed the grass, and then cleaned the garage door for the first time in years! Also went for a run, think I need to to the quack as really short on breath and afterwards finding it difficult to breath out quickly i.e. when laughing. Been like it for a few weeks now and been avoiding calling the doctors
Haha. You've been through the wars haven't you! You are right. I've seen some strange crashes at that corner, the worst being someone hitting the wall head on I've had 2 scares at croft, locked the front at the end of the start finish straight and just managed to get it turned before running off. And lost the back end taking that right at the end of the back straight. Ended up sat on the fuel tank Great track though. Most my mates winge about it but I love it.
I like Croft as I find it quite challenging to put a good lap together. I always struggled with the complex and getting that 1st gear 180° corner onto the straight right. Coming off there was all my own fault though. Didnt drop the tyres pressures nearly enough and had a bit too much bravado while going for a fast lap. Live and learn as they say
Good luck with that one, most GPs trying to avoid seeing patients at all costs at the minute. Mind I couldn't run to the fridge at the minute. Never ever been as unfit as I am presently even though I would always class myself as active. I genuinely dont like sitting around doing nothing , hence this thread I suppose. Garage doors another good shout. Next time the hose is out !
