USB handlebar switch

Hi all, thinking of getting this to keep the juice in the phone when being used as a satnav, obviously the black/red goes straight to the battery, and I’m guessing the others go to a switched wire? Headlight & ground?

 

Would seem to make sense.

 

Black and White to ignition, Green is ground wire.

You might want to look at putting an inline fuse if the unit itself doesn't have one.

 

Great advice. I have an inline on my usb lead, and if that's the actual item pictured, looks as though it comes without one. Inline fuse is only about a nugget to buy.

Looks an interesting device but how are you going to fit it?
None of my 'blades have had more than a cm of exposed bar tube.

I ask because I can think of a use for it on my bike.
