Has anyone tried the newer Akrapovic that they list for Fireblades now? Anyone got any thoughts on it as well?
I've got it on both my 2016 blades. Sounds awesome with the baffle out but still pretty good with it in as well.
Did you have to do any fuelling adjustments at all? Is it better than the "old" style Akrapovic which has a bend in the link pipe? Why did they change it? Thanks!
Both bikes came with the akras on from new. I had both remapped. The black standard one was running like a pig smoothness wise...really bad, probably the worst I've experienced in a bike. The remap turned it around 100% The sp was nigh on perfect for smoothness from the start though. So the remap just upped the performance a little. Can't answer the latter part of your Q mate

Fair enough it would be going on a 2016 SP. Not sure why they changed the design as the old official Honda/Akrapovic one looked like this; So the link pipe is completely different, that said the new one seems to make 0.1kw more of power!! Wondering if that affects the back pressure in the system at all as the new one is a lot shorter, it's also half the price.
