its the commuting work horse and my work commute is 100 miles a day so it builds up quickly . Also a few tours and trips but very much commuter miles! not on it atm because the workshop doing the valve clearance is closed. But it’s been great to get back on the blade as the weather has played ball. Always love getting it out of hibernation and fall in love with again!
Cancelled our Germany trip a couple of days ago because of the Budweiser virus. Was doing the Black Forest and Nurburgring at 2k all round trip. That mileage won't be reaching my bike now! Chin
Hmm.... Bought my SP in January 2019 and I'm ashamed to say I only just managed to get it up to a 1000 miles in the first year. In my defence, a baby was born and I was living at my in laws for 3 months while the extension was built and getting out on the bike was a big ask. I had hoped 2020 was going to be a big mileage year maybe not, but I'm still optimistic! I'm hoping to get 12k on it by the time I let her go at the end of 2021
I'm hoping to get 12k on it by the time I let her go at the end of 2021[/QUOTE] is 12k your total for the agreement mate?
Not many high miles here is there. I thought I had 42 miles but it was on the trip meter A, I since found out its on 46 after pressing a few menu mode buttons with not having a clue on what does which why or how !!!!
My current 14 plate has 40k, previous 12 plate was sold with 12k, before that an 04 had 55k, all bought new. No commuting, just ridden for fun ;-)
Mine is worse mate I got to get up and go all the way to the kettle and fridge for my commute. Really bad at the minute as the missus is working from home too...effing nightmare....she is in MY space
Just done an mot history check I bought the bike late 2015 with 1k miles but first MOT wasnt till 2017. 2016 5k 2017 4k 2018 1k 2019 0.3k 2020 fuck all
My 09 Repsol was bought with 5k miles showing its now just over 24k. I have done 5 Euro trips averaging 2/2.5k on each trip. Have enjoyed every single mile the bike has been ultra reliable and other than routine service items only extra has been a new battery.
It'll be a crying emoji one day when all you can ride is your mobility scooter and you're wistfully thinking you wished you'd ridden more when you were young lol.. Get your finger out this summer
That would be the dream, a tank a month as opposed to a tank a day!! Would probably take the scenic route every now and then though! Quite is an understatement! It still makes me laugh that the Fireblade is better with fuel. I get about 100 miles till the fuel light comes on, on the MT10. It is decatted and had an ECU remap though. Whereas on the Fireblade, I normally get 120+, sometimes 130+ before the light comes on. Both tanks brimmed to the top. I think the Fireblade has .5 litre higher capacity but thats it.
As soon as BoJo gives me the green light I will be hitting those lanes, not literally hopefully but you know what I mean
I'm hoping we get enough restrictions lifted to get the bike out for a few reasons but for furlough to continue for a little while longer
WOW, some really high miled bikes here, even those weekend warriors are putting the miles on! Especially when most of these bikes are under 10 years old. Its really nice to see - proper bikers on here! Chin
