I was into Aircraft and helicopters a few years ago, great fun, still got a couple but not flown them in a while
the idiot in me (a good 80%) thinks I could handle an rc chopper but I know I'd get it in a million pieces very quickly . but the lure of a plane is strong. I'd be happy full rc not nitro. as again the idiot would try and tune it so that would go pop at 50ft for sure.
Both helis are Raptor 50s', scale one has a jet ranger body, both are Nitro, rotor dia of 1.4m fw 190 had a 72" wing span 1.82m nitro 4 stroke, the little planes where electric and nitro
The way i did was start with small cheap electric heli, if crash (and I did) can fix easy, and work your way up the only Vid I have of the Jet ranger, someone took while i did a flight to check out some new bits on it
Erm..... Model nerd alert!!!! What was that you were saying about 'adrenalin rush sports'??!!!! Each to their own of course.... Ahem!
More of an Adrenalin Rush flying a model Heli then hitting a bloody small ball with a stick and then going off for a long walk...
Mrs graveltrap was shown the vid clip and went great a bloody helicopter is going to be delivered soon is it . no no dear don't be silly. it's a plane first . ffs your a child . your point is and I honked her boobs and left room. moral win for mankind again lads .
I know I could upgrade electrics but I want her as close to how she was when I was a kid so one ceramic resistor has arrived. original one works but is cracked so will fail soon. still waiting on some track arms as originals so worn the drop off ball mount over bumbs ect .
