Well , someone did something wrong lin the and of rising sun, that´s why all bikes already in europe gonna be inspected , and few of them recalled . that´s why there is a delivery stop and so on
Anything to do with this? https://www.visordown.com/news/product-news/global-recall-issued-certain-brembo-brake-pads
I just wish Honda would give some kind of update as I'm seriously thinking of cancelling my order, need a bike for what maybe left of the summer after lockdown is lifted here in the UK. More freedoms have been give to those of us who live in England but here in Wales its still stay at home and no travelling for exercise, local only :-(
Honda CBR1000RR-R Being Recalled in Europe for Con-Rod Failures https://www.asphaltandrubber.com/re...blade-recalled-europe-con-rod-failure-recall/
Honda claiming it only affects 300 bikes will do no good for the value. Honda just can't seem to catch a break --- serves them right really, they have forgotten about the customer.
Just got a reply back from my dealers regarding the recall: He's not had any info from Honda UK but has been told the delivery expectation is now late June inc. demo models. He thinks this may well be due to the recall link I'd shown him. Depending on how long this goes on for, might consider keeping the BMW for another winter and looking at the Fireblade in 2021..
More mid juli as it´s official : https://www.1000rr.net/threads/what-did-you-do-for-your-cbr-1000rr-today.206746/post-4299763
I had the official UK dealer bulletin read out over the phone on Monday. It really tells them nothing. other than the bikes are delayed due a quality issue.
Yes we've heard very little I assume it's due to the recall. Will wait for version 1.1 to be released. Obvious something like this would happen when they struggled to make a fuel cap work on the 17 model. Not like they haven't been making fuel caps for some years.
