I'm no where near you two but thank you for the invite Just like taking the pi@@ especially now I have a new shiney polished helmet and everything Seriously have a good run and enjoy it
Well this evening, I had bike mode on got out the abba lift got the bike in the air took off the old hugger don't mention the chicken strips only got 46 miles Mrs comes out says tea ready....ffs go in scoff my mash and ribs to the point of indigestion, grab a can of thatchers go back outside and start comparing the hugger to see what needs fettling, put the standard inside the new hugger to near enough, mark it with pen and say do not cut more than that..multitool trimmer thought that might be easiest, wrong too vibie, so get a junior hacksaw, and gingerly hack away. Mrs then comes out its 8 o'clock its clapping time FFS...…….. then she starts chatting to the neighbours knowing full well its getting darker and the bike is outside and its getting dewie. So now its getting to the point I ask her to hold the hugger while I fettle with 4" grinder with a new glass pad on, And I didnt cut her fingers There is a bit of difference in the between the two the standard one is shorter, but area that covers the ohlins is longer, so hence they do look different. And it fits will take off again tomorrow need a tad more fettling still a bit of stress to get the bolts in
@Brom66 that's a good effort all round. Getting your missus to help.......I know what mine would have said Well done for all us lesser men I'm getting a bit tipsy now, good old stella my very best friend
If it were not for my tea, the clap for NHS and her chatting to the neighbour which she never has done, I'd have been in earlier having a few bevvys, not playing catchup to get my 4 cans of thatchers before bedtime to help me sleep
Made me and the Missus a Bacon and Egg Muffin as she was missing her occasional maccie's. Have to admit it was rather tasty
Cooked a bbq sirloin steak, jubilee sausages, pigeon burgers, pak Choi, garlic mushrooms and salad Followed by home made meringue with rhubarb rippled cream and rhubarb sauce
Hanging out of my arse today, decided it would be a great idea to get pissed with all the neighbours last night.
Have to say....I enjoyed the forum bbq at @Selmer50mark 's last year.....especially after the firebrigade had left...
My 7x5 number plate arrived at last. I ordered one online but somehow managed to forget to change the size so a standard one arrived. I had to order another so cost me about 40 quid in the end! Anyway finally put it on the new J-Tech tail tidy I installed last week and I'm pleased with the result. Only problem was there was nowhere to put the small reflector that came with the tail tidy so had to put it on the lic plate light. I didnt realise they have to be centred.
And I know I need new tyres before anyone mentions it. that is dust in the middle from the dusty lane in live down.
