Well this evening, I had bike mode on got out the abba lift got the bike in the air abba stand left hand side (2).jpg
took off the old hugger:) don't mention the chicken strips only got 46 miles:oops:

Mrs comes out says tea ready:rolleyes:....ffs go in scoff my mash and ribs to the point of indigestion:mad:, grab a can of thatchers:eek: go back outside and start comparing the hugger to see what needs fettling, put the standard inside the new hugger to near enough, mark it with pen and say do not cut more than that..:eek:multitool trimmer thought that might be easiest, wrong too vibie, so get a junior hacksaw, and gingerly hack away. :) hugger before trim bottom (2).jpg
Mrs then comes out its 8 o'clock its clapping time FFS...…….. then she starts chatting to the neighbours knowing full well its getting darker and the bike is outside and its getting dewie.

So now its getting to the point I ask her to hold the hugger while I fettle with 4" grinder with a new glass pad on, And I didnt cut her fingers:D
hugger after trim bottom (2).jpg There is a bit of difference in the between the two the standard one is shorter, but area that covers the ohlins is longer, so hence they do look different.:)

And it fits:cool: will take off again tomorrow need a tad more fettling still a bit of stress to get the bolts in hugger lhs fitted.jpg

If it were not for my tea, the clap for NHS and her chatting to the neighbour which she never has done, I'd have been in earlier having a few bevvys, not playing catchup to get my 4 cans of thatchers before bedtime to help me sleep:D

My 7x5 number plate arrived at last. I ordered one online but somehow managed to forget to change the size so a standard one arrived. I had to order another so cost me about 40 quid in the end! Anyway finally put it on the new J-Tech tail tidy I installed last week and I'm pleased with the result. Only problem was there was nowhere to put the small reflector that came with the tail tidy so had to put it on the lic plate light. I didnt realise they have to be centred.
