Saw this on the Facebook SP page Adam Kitchen May 9 · Please share A Red sports bike lost there rear seat cowling near York today at around 5pm it came off near Acomb roundabout A1237 York by pass they headed to Askham Bryan/ back roads towards Tadcaster If you know the person tell them to get in touch for it as my dads picked it up for you and it’s still in perfect condition
I done this with my old SV, as I didn't click the cowl on properly and saw it flew off on an A road as it lifted the back of my jacket during its flight. To my terror, whilst looking behind, I saw a few cars run it over to smithereens so never recovered it. This one's lucky, and these things cost a bomb too! I do hope it's rejoined with its owner! Lost my tail tidy on my TLR once, numberplate, indicators the whole lot, was very lucky it didn’t hit anyone. Never did find it lol
Only noticed because my indicator flash rate went up. Was at an old girlfriends at the tine. Quick bit of nooky then off to the workshop to make a new one ASAP
