First time out on the blade today since September! (I have been riding the winter bike since then). Forgot just how bloody good the blade is, so smooth and feels like a missile compared to my 22 year old VFR. My knees had a bit of a shock though. Had to keep reminding myself that my speedo leaves no room for error now since fitting the speedohealer gifted by @tuktuk :)

I had a much better go of a ride today as its started to warm up a bit, traffic seems to be slowly coming back around Greater London which sucks but was still a nice couple of hours out and about!

Now to get some parts fitted!!

I didnt get out today still a bit tight around the back of the neck and shoulders from yesterday.
Its amazing how long it takes to get back into 'sports bike' bendiness after a winter on uprights, or is it just me having too much stella and too many crisps:confused:

Didn’t get any pictures but the BSA was out today.
    At 40-50mph what a ride
Much more scarier than the blade:p:p:p

Got out on mine tonight for the first time since lockdown began. Forgot I’d applied ACF-50 at the start of lockdown, pooped myself when all the smoke started appearing as it warmed up.

Only did 40 miles and took it steady. Was wonderful to be back out there.

Got home to emails from Demon Tweeks and Sports Bike Shop to say my goodies have been dispatched. New helmet, S22’s, Nitron Shock, Chain & Sprockets and Brake Disc on their way.

    It’s been a good evening :)

Nothing flash, just an EBC Stainless Steel one.

The one on the bike looked past it’s best and didn’t feel as smooth as I thought it should. I figured if the rear wheels coming out for the C&S/Tyre then I’d have it done at the same time.

All the parts came from Demon Tweaks, tyres included. TBH though that was largely due to spending a grand and them offering 0% on a range of terms. Was really easy, (scarily so you could argue).

finally got some parts installed on the MT10.

    R1 2CR Front Master Cylinder
ASV C5 levers (had to replace the Gilles as the R1 Gilles lever didn’t match the MT10 clutch lever)
Tinted Reservoir’s off a Street Triple to replace the horrible stock ones

Already had new pads and some HEL lines installed but the MC Has improved the braking to another level

agreed! Although it felt odd to get back on an upright bike today after using the blade for the last month!

    haha it is rather unsightly!

Once my preferred workshop opens up and does it’s valve clearance, I’m taking it to get valet’d by Freddy Trott (http://www.trottracing.com/). Have used him a couple of times and the man works miracles! Will ask him to clean it up
