How do i measure 1 Quart of oil ?

    Changing the gear box oil in the old Harley but the manual says it takes 1 Quart ??

    About 1.1 litres iirc.

    1 quart equals 0.9463529 ltrs. 2 pints or 32 fl oz, or the easiest one 192 tea spoons. :D

    32 fl oz would be 2 American pints (16fl oz, vs. UK 20 fl oz)

    Bloody confusing me this is. Just saw the error of my ways there Vino thanks.
    The app on my phone is bloody American. Even the tea spoon is american. Wtf if they were imported from china? :D

    All sorted now guys . Iv found the weep hole to indicate it has enough oil in

    First time I serviced a Harley I spent 20 mins looking for the drain bolt....lol coz there ain one....lol

    deffo 1 on ours but its a 1969 , Not sure on newer bikes

    Don't know much about Harleys other than they are heavy!...lol On the new ones (only worked on a couple) you pull the oil pipe of the res tank...that simple...lol

    Would like an old Iron head harley, Canadian war time type bike.. :D

    Nice . Ours is a 69 Iron head . Custom hard tail etc .. Really want springer forks for it but you gotta changed the front wheel and brakes as well so not going to be cheap
