Hi Lozzy. Appreciste this is an old post. Am looking at getting a dark visor for my new X Spirit 3. RaceVisors says they need a different shaped Pinlock insert. Is that correct? I cant see that mention on VisorShop. Also, ever been stopped for having a dark visor (not road legal?).
Stand by I'll go root mine out and give you model....I got the dark visor and pinlock insert from Sportsbikeshop when I got the lid..... it's a different insert as I tried to move my old insert into it and it didn't fit
The clear visor your lid came with is CWR-F and the pinlock insert for it will only fit that and the CWF-1 The dark visor you need is on this link. It's a CWR-1 model. I've never had any issues with wearing dark visors, you'll be absolutely fine. Plus they're a godsend in bright sun. I only wear it in the day anyhow. I pop a clear in if I'm going to be riding after dark.

What's the transition time like on those? Used to have specs that did that and they were "interesting" when faced with a sudden change, i.e. driving into or out of a tunnel or a heavily wooded area.
