Was looking for a spare battery. Normally go for official ones but saw Ravpower did 2 batteries and a charger for less than the price of 1 gopro battery. Best bit is the normal price is £15.99 but Amazon have a £2 voucher, and the seller has a code to reduce the price to £5.99, and the Amazon voucher works as well so ended up paying £3.99. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B077P72HFR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_fTt2EbRT7VG20 The promo code is under the Special Offers For This Item bit.
Hope yours are good but the RAVpower Go-pro batteries I bought are abysmal. They were okay to begin with but now last a fraction of the time of the official ones, to the extent that you put the battery in and the % drops by 5-10% every few seconds as you watch it. One battery much worse than the other as well. I'd go for more expensive or official ones now...
Not a problem as from Amazon so will just return them. Is that a problem on older GoPros, thought it was only fromnthe 7 or 8 onwards?
Worse case scenario I have a dual charger for £3.99 I also have a Garmin camera and the non-OEM batteries on there aren't great but have rescued me a few times so fingers crossed on these ones.
At least from 5 onwards, after version 1.55, aftermarket batteries were blocked. Don't know if it changed in the mean time.
