What’s your meat if choice? mines beef but at the minute leaning towards chicken. Love a bit of turkey too.
Lamb 2.5 kg leg with rosemary, garlic and anchovies put in slits all over roasted over carrots, onion, celery, garlic and herbs with a lamb and vegetable stock in the bottom cooked to medium rare and gravy made out of what’s left. I’m hungry now
No meat for me, I'm vegetarian They do a mean vegetarian Sunday roast up my local but that's all out the window at the moment what with COVID-19
Never understood Sunday dinners.. My mother worked 6 days a week and then on the Sunday she was stuck in a kitchen for hours on end turning out the so called traditional meal.... Used to watch her and think f#ck all that for a game of soldiers... Carveries are the portals to Hell too
Good for you.. I didn't eat meat for 25yrs...only fish. And despite my odd spam fritter jokey meal I still only eat fish no meat 99% of the time
Fish eater here as well, used to eat meat but just went off it after too long working in the US & Canada, nearly ended looking like a steak.
If I'm out, pub or whatever its beef..... If I'm at home it's chicken. Don't ask me why, just the way it goes!
Lamb! The best meat and yet ironically the traditional meat of the poor, hence not called by a poncy French based name when cooked.
Got to be beef with very crispy roast pots, broccoli/cauli/peas and obviously yorkshire puds and horseradish but in my case NO gravy
No gravy Paulo lol, I don't have gravy on any meal (strange but true) not sure where the 'egg' came from on my posting, my tablet has a mind of its own.
