Hi there, found a good deal on 2017 cluster, would be nice to update the current 2011 one. Just wanted to get some opinions if it's possible and figure out how much hassle something like this would be. Also what would work and what wouldn't work on it

From what I understand is that the plug is completely different for this year, so I would need to cut the wires. And if I ever found a decent deal on a 2012-2015 cluster, it's just almost plug and play? Can't seem to get any info if the info when you're riding on reserve would work properly

i'm just guessing, but imagine it's a bit of a pain to do as the 2017 has loads of extra electronics etc, not sure it would work with a 2011 ECU but might be wrong. i'd imagine there woud be functions on the 2017 dash that you wouldn't be able to use. would look cool though :)
