I spent a few days ( a few weeks ago now) with my hammer chisel taking the kitchen floor tiles up. The tiles were easy but the effing adhesive left behind......well not something I would want to do again. Just waiting for a tiler to lay the new ones but the missus now announced I will have to decorate the kitchen too. Never friggin ends
I did get out on the blade for a few hours this afternoon as next couple of days going to be a wash out. I am finding it hard to use the rev range between 10k and 13,500 as the front always lifts not a huge amount but its always off the floor (even in 4th and once in 5th) Not sure if it's a setting I need to adjust or maybe stiffen the suspension or maybe it's a signature of the bike with it being quite light. I'm sure I will either get used to it or find a way around it. Nice blast out all the same.
A good effort and reminded me of the international press launch of the M3 & M4 in Portugal. The whole hotel was only a year old and was taken over by BMW and a few of their very special guests & of course me and my tribe (quite by chance) Anyway it was great, bloody superb cars ( new & heritage stuff) parked all over the lawns plus all the new M4 press test cars
To be honest I wasn’t a fan at first mate but the 4 litre v8 grew on me and loved this modified car. The m4 is a different beast and massive in comparison but what a car.
£213 and a two month wait - although they may be up and running again now. I really wanted the blue but it's been discontinued.
Mrs mk3 decided we needed to redo the garden so this weekend I have ripped the old slabs out, layed and pointed the new slabs, removed the old artificial grass and framework I put down 4 years ago. Next step, decking, flower box, seat, water feature, electrics and beer fridge
Thanks Charlie; not been an easy weekend. Had to wash my neighbours cars as the wind got it covered in cement
Had to go to the office today to collect a new laptop. Pretty surreal as I was the only one in there, but to make up for it McDs had no queue for breakfast, and whilst I started queuing at the door for my free Costa I only had 3 people in front of me. Was on the road between 8:30am and 9am but commute was significantly quieter than when I used to get to the office for 7:30 ish.
Well here's we go again. At least the weather was good enough for one last ride out even if the gritters had been out Centre if Rothbury in Northumberland this morning. Quite a few bikes turned up after this pic taken, all desperate for the 'last' ride
Was staying near Elsdon week before last for a few nights in a cottage on a farm, and ate in The Queens Head Rothbury one night, really nice part of the world.
