Hey guys, So I just thought I would poke my head in and let you know what I've done. I have been speaking to Rob for a few days in regards to the forum and it being slow, and he made the descion to host the forum with me. I run a hosting business myself and am a Linux Systems Admin, so I know my way around servers pretty well. I also used to work for a very large webhosting company. Sorry for the short bursts of downtime you have had (that should stop now). I have been working with Rob in fixing some things after the migration. I think we still need to do an upgrade to the software, but I just want things running well first. For those that are interested at the moment the forum is just running a simple Apache install with mysql, after a few weeks I plan to tune mysql and apache to really speed things up. I'm afriad I can't offer anything else to your forum as I don't ride a bike.. I am more into my modified VW's (I have a Vw Corrado). Incedentially I also host the corrado-forum which has had a lot of tweaks to get it running quick. It is a massive forum!! I may as well plug myself while I'm here..
