    No mate
To be honest, last year they were half again what MCE was and then rung me back to see if they could do better(I don’t like that, give me the cheapest first) and looking at the other quotes I do not think anyone would get close to MCE.
Also it was in my head do renew and I was on the computer so just looked in the compares and then MCE’s and I was nearly happy;)

I was with MCE for a few years because of price difference. As has been said, woe betide you if you want to do anything other than meet your legal requirements. I had a no fault claim with personal injury. Their engineer wrote the bike off because one of the sliders was bent. He couldn't see the frame, so erred on 'the safe side'. There was nothing wrong with it. Their solicitors (Fletchers - Felchers!) recommended I accept 50% of the blame for someone changing lanes without looking (Most car drivers don't know that Mirror, Signal, Manoeuvre are three, separate operations). MCE's partner called Plantec supplied me with an inadequate bike which they charge to the insurers @ £240 per day. They drag their heels when collecting it but continue charging. MCE came up with a settlement figure for the bike & sent a cheque. I argued it was not enough to replace like-for-like, given the extras mine had. I had to price up everything, find examples of similar bikes & send them details. Heard nothing back.
If your bike gets nicked at night, and it's anywhere other than where you said it would be at night, they'll wriggle out of paying in full.
They're cheap, but that's all I can say about them.

If you have any accident and you have the bike at home remove all your add on goodies, if they take the bike away for inspection and right it off that is the last you will see of them, I have a lot of titanium and carbon on mine, this would come off first
