Depends what company, did not cost me another bean.. I'm with Nash! They normally ask if it makes more power, most will say as long as its not more than 10% as the bike manufactures quote crank bhp rear wheel numbers always seem very low and even if they do quote wheel power rarely do they make any where near that in the real world.. I call it Brochure Horse Power! Back to the PCV, I say to people as a result of good fueling you may or may not see more power but you will have a more ridable bike.. Some good comments in this thread..
I'm hoping to get a custom map done some time soon. When I do go will the dyno guy be interested in building a map for maximum horsepower or will he consider building a good map for the road? Or is it the case that a map with good horsepower will also be good on the road. My priority is to have a nice smooth bike with no flat spots and good on off throttle response with no jerkyness, no overheating and not too much of a drop in MPG - if the horsepower increases that would be good. I'm not racing the bike so there is more than enough power for me. Am I expecting too much?? Does anyone have any experience of what the dyno operator offered when they had their map done? Thanks - Steve.
Custom map a must! did my 2007 blade and the differance was mint! Will be doing the 2011 this year cant beat FWD
