Visited local Ducati dealer today to look at the V2 Panigale as I've not seen one yet, talking to the salesman he mentioned that its soon going to be available in white. I know most riders will go for the red but hey I like to be different.
Yep the red wheels really set it off, it looks beautiful!! If I was to get one though.....I'd never forgive myself if I didn't get it in red!! It's a bit like Ferraris......be sacrilege to get one in any other colour than red! And Lamborghinis.....have to black....or green.....or orange.....or, shit they look good in any colour!!!
The good thing about it being white is that you can spray it any colour you like - yellow ? or mauve ? (the dude that bought my white GSX-S sprayed it black).
back in the day my mate turned up at my parents house with a yellow 748. I was still on my slab side gsxr so it look double amazing . my dad came out walked round it patted my mate on shoulder turned towards house walked of and said but it's yellow boy .
Just had a google to see what yellow Ducatis there are out there - reckon this is about the best of them ?
I like yellow bikes. Had a yellow & black fireblade before. That white V2 looks amazing with the red wheels. I would pick this over the everyday red in a heartbeat.
Also prefer the white, came very close to PX'ing the blade for a white 2014 899 a couple of years ago
Friends V2 back at the dealers due ti failed Quickshifter and back brake they said they would collect to fix it but not to deliver it back....not good service
The original v4's had about a billion recalls and the QS position sensor seems to be a bit shit... The problem with buying a first gen model from Ducati is that they are usually letting the public find all the faults for them for a year or so... Updated versions the following year or 2 seem to have all the gremlins sorted out and generally better bikes....
