I can see some of the potential problem with using Maxton could be that everything they do is bespoke so if they take the wrong data from you or misunderstand your thoughts on the subject its easy to go wrong. When I spoke to Richard at Maxton (very helpful and knowledgable chap by the way) he did say they like a customer to come with a specific problem so they can work on that rather than just the simple make it better mate statement.

Big money! I'd be going for an Ohlins 30mm cartridge kit instead.

Personally, good suspension is vital for me on the road and that is where my main money goes first. As to Ohlins, well there are others probably as good, some maybe better, but I just love the performance from them, the build quality and the looks. Having said that, I won't be putting Ohlins forks on, just too much money for me.

Old post...but I thought I'd resurrect it and sling in my two penneth :)

    I fitted GP30's to mine.....and love them.
Previously I had the basic Maxton conversion...and that was good, the GP30's feel much nicer, especially when you come off the brakes pre-corner (or when you want to trail them mid-corner)
Much easier to set up...and the changes to settings appear to be more noticeable. So less voodoo involved maybe?
I don't track my bike (yet) but ride it pretty hard on the road.
In the wet, the feedback from the front appears to be better too, giving a bit more confidence when braking.
    BUT
My bike is a Tuono...so I can't specifically comment on Honda suitability, but on my Aprilia it's a win.
Anyhooos...enough of the bollocks...here's a few pics for those interested :)
