Hello everyone, I'm Antoine, 37 from Val d'Oise (a nice countryside above Paris). I own a 2017 Fireblade since yesterday and I stumbled upon this forum while looking for intel about its birthday. I think I'll stay, all apologies for my english. I owned three bikes before that; a Street Triple I never knew how to ride, a KTM 990 SMR that showed me the light and the asphalt up close, and a KTM Superduke 1290 on wich I felt both a punk and a king (what an exhilarating bike). I decided to jump on the japanese sportbike train cos I ride all year long and I need something reliable (KTM are not), also I wanted a taste of a true trackbike to widen my motorcycle culture. My present opinion about the CBR is pretty irrelevant as I have much to learn, but I must say the credit I gave about the usual claims on 4 inline cylinders being torque less life less vacum cleaner are null and void. What a blast, what a sound. See you around.
Thank you all Awesome bike isn't it ? You can pretty much ride it the way you want, supermotard / track style, whatever pleases you. Hope you won't have as much sensors issues as I did on both of my KTM.
Hi and welcome Antoine, don’t fret about the English, you’re better than some members. (Myself included)
