I have just removed my helmet from its bag and I am gutted because the side blade of the rear spoiler has broken off Of course no one knows who has done it But my question is and I have sent Nolan a email just to see what they say, but can you get spares for these and if so does anyone know where?
I can send you these if you like, might be a few days before I can do it though. Got them through work.
What can I say MrB What a top bloke and top offer And I will take you up on that Thank you very much And a happy Christmas and new year to you sir
I deleted it, because it got me thinking about Arai and the difference now between lids like this X-Lite (and others from Shark, Shoei, AGV, HJC....) and I thought it might cause a bit of grief and upset people. I look at lids like this and look at top of the range Arai and wonder how Arai are still in business to be honest. Amazing lid technology now, but I did not want to ask these questions in case I upset people who love their Arai.
I’m just contemplating a Shoei X-Spirit 3 off of the back of reviews... that said, I have a GT Air at the moment and it is terribly loud so umming and aarrring!
The X-Lite 803 is a nice helmet and very light being carbon fibre. The visor optics are the best I've had yet, very clear. Only fault I've found is it leaks like a sieve which isn't ideal but I was out for a few hours in a monsoon, spoke to the rep about it who recommended sticking some blue-tac to the interior where the vents are located! You don't get that with an Arai/Shoei, they still have the best build quality. For daily use/commute it's good but for Sunday best I prefer an Arai or Shoei just need to remember the neck brace if I wear the Arai, it's heavy.
Nice collection ! My Arai RX-7V weighs 1.65 kg ! in size XL. Just bought an AGV - K6 arrived a couple of days ago. More of an everyday helmet than a sportsbike helmet, but full of the latest technology. It is a bit rounder in the face. No decent graphics though, but well made. Never had an AGV before.
I loved my guy Martin agv but this x lite is something else Very comfortable I have not had any problems with water even at 100+ in rain Only problem I’m having is I can’t get the cardo jbl speakers in a comfortable position Also helmets suit different heads I love it anyway
I've got the X-Spirit 3 it's the best lid I've ever had. Tbh I think most lids let noise in and I wear earplugs these days so that issues sorted regardless of what I wear
