The Philips xtreme vision are only 3,500 Kelvin so will be still a tad yellow/orange Altho brighter than standard bulbs . The diamond vision I used are 5000kelvin and are a lot whiter
i tried several different ones , wasted a fair few quid before I got the diamond vision ones , was really happy with them . Didn’t want to mod the bike as at the time it was under manufacturers warranty . Didn’t want an excuse to wriggle out of a warranty claim if there was one ........
You might be better off with these new ones as mine are not technically road legal , the ones which are 4200 Kelvin are legal
philips xtreme visions are good slightly colder temp @ 35kK. Bluer than this, you start loosing lumens; anyway bluer is not better. osram night racer (I currently use) are similar to philips but @110%, designedd for bikes The brighter the halogen, the shorter the lifetime specially on bikes. Yellowing can also be due to reflector and lens clouding. I would definitely stay away from higher than standard watts bulbs
Thanks for the info @Stevie_d - I’ve started a return of the streamers and ordered a pair of the white vision
