Well I've only gone and done it, after toying with the idea of a V2 last year and to be fair would probably be the easier road bike to live with......I've got myself a V4!!! Its a 1 owner, registered in April last year and has covered 1900 miles. Now an Aruba rep wouldn't have been my first choice but luckily its only a decal kit, its been professionally fitted though, made a really good job of it but likelihood is I'll have the Mrs hairdryer out after a few weeks and strip them off! Or i might leave it on as if anything it'll act as paint protection film, especially on the front! So sadly the blade has gone and so has the R1 as the deposit
Nice one. I think this is something you have to do at least once in your lifetime. Even though I moved away from the Blade I still think about buying a Duke or another Aprilia.
Yeah I like to think I got a good deal, I got £11600 for the Blade SP which is good considering average price for sale is around 12k and £3500 for the R1. I only paid £3400 for the R1, so while I could have got more privately I still got more than I paid for it privately. The Panigale was £16,995....... they're £19,995 new so a saving of 3k!!!! On a 9 month old bike, and its a 2020 bike so revised slightly and has the shark Gill fairings and WWWWIIIINNNNGGGGSSS!!!!!!
Exactly.......I've never had a Ducati before and that itch was bugging me. And when you start looking you can't stop and when I saw this, I had to act fast, no time for private sales!
Nice one Paul... I’ve literally never looked back since jumping ship! I’d definitely be getting that hairdryer out though Enjoy
Congrats.. that is a nice bike! Have you ridden it yet? Let us know how you feel it drives compared to the Blade, would be interesting to hear.
I will do if it makes it that far without breaking down! haha nooo Michael Neeves been all round Europe on one of these and he said it didn't miss a beat!
No not ridden it yet, not that fussed about test rides especially if its new or nearly new like this! I'll report back once it gets delivered next weekend!
Well what can I say Paul congratulations mate Pani looks absolutely stunning, bet you can't wait for that first ride. Will be following your reports with interest don't forget us on here.
