Hello everyone, Just signed up to the forum as got my second cbr1000rr First one i had was 2004 cbr1000rr fireblade which i loved it but sold last year. And just recently i claimed abandoned crashed 2010 cbr1000rr which was sitting for over 5years in our private garages. So i thought ill take a task of trying to put it back to life and hopefully ill find and get useful information on here.

What category insurance write off is it? I rebuilt a 2014 model CAT N insurance write off recently so know my way around the bike as well as expected part prices etc. Let me know if you want some information etc when you start the re-build.
Well i ran full hpi on the bike and it seems like person who crashed it didnt went thru insurance as its not on write offs, which is i assuming a good thing Will defo give you a msg
I assume you’ve now got a V5 in your name for it then? If you’ve not I wouldn’t do anything to it yet
Just filled dvla v62 form, i think then it enquiries the last owner and if they dont contact dvla you get v5 on your name. I might be wrong on process but that's what I been told.
