Yea same. Some people reckon the clear screen can melt your dash under extreme conditions. Just be careful if you ever go abroard or out during our week of summer.
Whilst it's been off the road since September, I've added few new bits; Replacement slip screens tall screen Domino grips F - CBR private registration DID super street fold chain Supersprox front and rear sprocket
After my encounter with the law enforcer on his bike, 5 weeks ago. He gave me a word of advice about the noisy exhaust (race fit) basically its too loud. I removed it today and sent it to racefit for modification to insert a baffle.
Blimey, that really annoys me when Hardly Ableson send their a twin out from the feckin factory with zero baffles and straight through pipes, which make a horrendous racket. I never had any trouble with plod with my Racefit or the SC Project with a couple of encounters I had. But, that said they weren’t traffic nor on bikes.
Yep, I challenged the noise of other manufactures exhaust. Reply they come out of production like that, not aftermarket race cans. That makes it alright then.
Well out of pure boredom I adjusted my suspension to that suggested by Sinwave as I'm a similar weight 100kgs with kit on. https://www.1000rr.co.uk/threads/2012-13-bpf-suspension-settings-by-kais.13861/#post-345906 Who knows when i will be able to try it out but it was fun and kept me occupied for a while. I also did some more cleaning and applied acf50. Oh and i put some more chains and locks on it while its stored up at home. This relatively cheap disc or chain lock did very well in tests. Its almost too small to attack. https://www.amazon.co.uk/RoundLock-Secure-Motorcycle-Dumbbell-Chains/dp/B07NCZY9FG
Took the cover off her, off the paddocks then wondered if she'd start after over two months, not touched it since reading here about the pros and cons of running it for a few minutes over winter,.Yay! First touch and the Leo V is blasting out that merry tune. Been on trickle charge though. Ride it tomorrow to the dealers. Weather looks ok.
Been messing with my prospective track bike... bit of painting of the Standard exhaust cover in the hope of getting to a UK track soon as... Hidden part painted a while ago... bevause the Arrow can wouldn't make it past a UK sound test
Did the same with mine when I had the rr9, didn't paint the cover though, just the actual exhaust as it was showing signs of rust. Looks good that though!! Come on @mk3golfcab its a 5 minute job
Hi Paulo. I’m a new member to the forum but have been reading the posts for a while. Happy new Panigale!! I’ve just put a deposit down on your ‘old’ Suzuka 8 Hour Fireblade, to be delivered mid-Feb. I’m interested in the screen and engine covers if you haven’t already flogged them
Small world....enjoy your new bike @PauloHRC looks after his bikes, they're immaculate and never go over 70mph so you've got a good buy there
I didn’t think he got over 30? I was under the impression he just rolled around the local towns posing?
He sulked on this one until we let him be in front on the photo.....he said he hadn't spent hours practising this look in the shop windows for nothing
