I suppose the title of this thread says it all!

I have just been told by another Honda dealer regarding the sale of this bike without an MOT, which ran out in October 2020 and has sprung a leak with the coolant as well along with the declaration of purchase also not having been signed... that this is the case?

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers peeps

You need to give more background for your comments to make more sense.
However it isn't illegal to sell a vehicle without an MOT. Its just harder to sell and commands a lower price but nothing illegal about it.

And worth remembering an MOT only focuses on safety related issues, doesn’t mean there might not be other issues, so a service history is always very helpful.

Absolutely 100% illegal to sell without an MOT, these items are usually marked extremely cheap so if you would like to share the add with me I'll report them ;)

Disagree - you should declare whether it has an MOT, but there is no legal requirement to provide an MOT with a vehicle. If you sell it stating that it has an MOT but it doesn't, then that's clearly mis-selling, but as others have said - if it doesn't have an MOT then it's either scrap value or priced accordingly. I'm fairly certain you could sell a track day bike without an MOT - as far as I'm aware, taking your bike on track only requires you to ensure that it is mechanically sound and has no loose bodywork that could fly off - definitely doesn't need an MOT, be taxed or insured. In fact I see @Muffking has already said this.

I was kidding, I was being sarcastic and asking for the link to the products to pretend to get a cheap deal.
An MOT has nothing to do with a sale. It doesn't even mean the vehicle is road worthy after leaving the test station.

An MOT does not make it fully legal to ride on the road, It is just basically a safety examination, some things like working speedos are a legal requirement for the road but not tested on the MOT
