For over a week, we were blessed with freezing temperatures (-5 @ night). But humidity was around or below 70%. The roads were white with engrained salt but no dust or slime. Made the most of if and rode almost every day (yes freezing hands & privates. I was taken by the amount of of lean I could put on the bike at these temperatures. Could have gone even further hand my hands& feet had not been numb. The soft compound on the sides feel very grippy to the touch even a 0°( they are Michelin pp3) The honeymoon is now over with the rain for the next many days
I would still Hose your bike down as it will be covered in salt and if left those tell tale signs of mini water droplets start to appear on tyres and the like as the salt socks the moisture from out the air. Well done for numbing your nuts though. Been the week before Xmas since I was last out on a bike....missing it now
I admire your patience! I would get extremely suicidal. Surprisingly there must have been very little salt dust in the air during my rides. I can just about see the salt dew on the tyre's edge not that we have gone to 90% humidity nonetheless, the bike will have a thorough clean this week
We've had snow and or ice for pretty much the last 4 weeks so the decision was made for me. Its melting today though as temps rise. Might be able to get the little GS out for my next shopping run ...fingers crossed
Are we allowed to ride now then in Lockdown? Weather looks good this week but we still in Lockdown yes? I can't seem to find much about this except MCN
Yes we ate still in lock down and NO you can't ride for pleasure but nothing stopping you using the bike to commute instead of the car or doing your essential shopping trip via the bike again instead if the car etc. Blasting around the countryside might well see you get pulled
Damn, Blasting around the Countryside or Track is the only bit I enjoy Oh well, roll on end of bloody lockdown

Off course all my outings were to go grocery shopping + exercise the bike. If horses can be ridden to exercise them, then in our tyrannically liberal and non discriminatory society, so should motorcycles
