problem is you don't find out how much they're going to charge you until it arrives in the UK at the sorting office, then you get a letter off Parcel Force telling you how much it is!

This happened to me recently when I bought a tail tidy from Germany. Arrived in UK then before they'd deliver it , got a letter off parcel force saying I need to pay £45 so they can forward the parcel on! Cancelled the order as I wasn't advised about this.

Now the Leathers i have my eye on at Fc Moto are £650......cheaper than anywhere else but what surprises lay in store for me when they get here?o_O

Goes off Value of the contents....not weight right?

I rode it, took a wrong turn and before i knew it I had done 70 miles. Load of bikes out today. The bike and i have now done our first 100 miles together and are starting to bond lol.

Correct, the charges go off the total value and I think that includes the cost of shipping also.

I bought the misle leather pants last week with 10% off for €228 euro. Luckily no extra charges for me.

Looks the part that @Jamie_lee! I always ran Supersprox with DID on the Enduro's. Very rare did they need adjusting.

Today I got s little more jealous of you lucky lot that managed to avoid the rain and get a few miles in. I still haven't turned a wheel on mine :(

In other news, my 'Ultimate Ears' ear protection turned up yesterday. Lovely bit of kit! Hopefully they perform as well as they look and feel.

I had a similar problem with my Blackbird. All checked over, new plugs, filters etc still no joy. It misfired at around 8500rpm until one day I filled it up with super unleaded and misfire immediately disappeared.

It’s worth a try as you’ll have to fuel it up anyway. I never did get to the bottom of what was causing the problem with the Blackbird, I later fitted aftermarket exhausts and a power commander with a generic map and was able to go back to 95RON with no issues.

A lovely little mod today. The bike came with the big Powerbronze carbon glossy hugger, I didn't like it so I bought a "Carbon2Race" one in a matte, twill weave.
It was made to order so I had to wait a while for it, but the quality is great and the communication was spot on throughout.
Not the best picture as I haven't got the bike.
Fingers crossed for my first ride Sunday.
