Hi all. I’ve got a problem with my 2008 blade. When opening the throttle, the ignition will stutter badly. I’ve removed the quick shifter, power commander & ignition module. But it still did it. I then replaced the spark plugs (which looked okay) and it still does it. I’ve looked over all connections and they seem fine.
The bike was involved in a small accident and has been sat for 4 months, however it was only a cracked nose cone and drop on side at about 10mph.
    Does anyone have any ideas..

I’ve had a fresh tank of fuel. I’ve just taken it out with my Snap-on RTEMP8 gun and checked the temperature of each cylinder at idle and at 5k. #1 was down on the rest by 60,70 or 80 degrees. So I’ll change them over and retest

Well done. Did you use any diagnostic tool?

No, next time I went out it came up with a fault code on the dash. Glad to finally have resolved it. Took it out for a good run out for the first time in about 5 months across the Isle of Wight’s new proposed Diamond Course. (Which was my route for the last 13 years haha)
