The day started on a damp note, with a wet kitchen floor due to the dishwashers outlet hose deciding to split itself overnight, a real butt ache as it was built in, even worse when I found out Miele would like to raid my bank account for 60 quid for a new one !!! Must be an ex Honda parts manager working for them. Mr Bezos’s company are delivering a universal hose for £7.99 today, hate using them but virtually unbeatable and same day service.

So went out into the garage with all good intentions of starting the long awaited shim check on the Blade and saw this thing sitting under its cover, where it’s been for 9 months, so after a difficult mental debate lasting about 5 seconds, the shim check went out of the window and took this out for some fresh fuel. Forgot just how good they handle.

Put my lardy leathers on, didn't bother checking if my textile kit still fitted, but at least the leathers are still loose.

Didn't go far, just to a local station to spoil her with some v-power as opposed to her normal supermarket own brand. Then looped home via Market Rasen. Pretty sedate until after Caenby Corner. Tagged on behind some cruiser who wanted to play so had a decent run back to Gainsborough. Give him his dues he could get away from the bends quick but wasn't as nimble in them. Acknowledged one another as our paths diverged, just a nice bit of mutual respect.

Just wondering if we will be legally allowed to ride our bikes from 29th March? I'm itching to go for a ride but don't want to breech the Covid rules as it would be hypocritical as I have vulnerable family members.

Yes, from the 29th March you are no longer under the "stay at home" rules. They will advise you to but it will no longer be an offence to ignore them.

I believe you can ride now so long as you are on your own. Travelling for exercise or RECREATION is now allowed.
Happy to be corrected but pretty sure recreational motorcycling is perfectly legal

Thanks very much for the clarification CharlieR85, I'll aim to get out on 29th - as long as it's not raining!

Yes this is true, but the stay at home rules mean your recreation must be local.

30 miles of going round the block, 4 left turns, then reversing it, 4 right turns to even out the tyre wear is soooo fooooking boring, but it keeps you within the rules and Bozzer happy
