@CharlieR85 @hitch and anyone else who has the translogic...

I know you've got/had the above and fitted it yourselves.
Where did your wire run to immediately on leaving the qs?

I've a serious issue with the black blade that could be a number of things. It's off to the garage soon to try to get sorted.

I've noticed that the wiring on its qs runs back and into the space behind...over and touching the parts that get hot!
Should it be here? Could it cause it to malfunction?
The SP wiring doesn't do this....it runs immediately to the right and into the frame area.

Both QS were fitted by separate garages. Both modules are located under the pillion seat.

That wire runs straight back to the QS ECU. The wiring on your SP is correct. Should only be a 30min fix for someone, just disconnect it at the ECU, pull it out and re route it.

Have you sited your ECU under the pillion or main seat area?

By the way, the instructions don't really specify where to route the cables but if yours is going close to heat then yea that's just common sense to keep them away.

    Agree with @CharlieR85
My cable was like your SP and then through the battery tray (?) and into the pillion seat area, all cable tied up with minimal slack.

Cheers....they're going to re route it for me. I'll let them know what you've said. My SP is in for service beforehand so they can take a look at its routing if needs be.

Mine's routed like your SP to. My ECU is under the main seat though.
In the manual it says to make sure the loom to the injectors doesn't interfere with the main bike loom.

I think I ran mine down the left side of the bike from memory.

    I hope you get sorted.

Yeah, I ran the cables to the injectors inside the left of the frame and used a long screwdriver to ease the engine over to create a couple of millimeters of space whilst I droped the cabling down to the existing loom.
    All worked out well.

I still maintain it's a bastard job ;) ...there's so much to remove, and clipping those bloody plugs inline with zero space to get your hands in is a nightmare.
